Ellen Holbrook

To go to therapy is a loving and courageous decision someone can take to prioritize themselves or their child’s mental health. I hope to create a safe space where you feel seen, heard, and accepted unconditionally. People heal in connection with others, so my aim is to make the environment with you feel safe and authentic. In doing this, I hope to collaborate with you on your concerns and help you align with your values.

My focus is on those experiencing anxiety, depression, substance use, trauma, self-esteem struggles, and life transitions. I enjoy utilizing sand tray and expressive arts in my sessions and believe in the power of play and creativity across the lifespan. I often take a person centered approach to my work and pull from CBT, DBT, play therapy, expressive arts, and mindfulness techniques.

It can be scary to start something new alone. My hope is that I can walk with you on your journey to personal growth and self compassion.
