Introduction:

We all experience challenges, face disappointment, and navigate heartache that can sometimes feel overwhelming. You are not alone—your story is unique, and I am so glad you are here, taking the brave step to invest in yourself and your healing journey. It takes courage and strength to seek support, and I commend you for prioritizing your well-being. I am passionate about working with families, couples, and individuals to create a safe and supportive space where healing and growth can flourish. Whether you are navigating relationship struggles, family dynamics, or personal challenges, I am committed to walking alongside you, helping you find clarity, strength, and meaningful solutions.

Education:

Sarah holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with a Concentration in Fine Arts from Bradley University and is currently pursuing a graduate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Liberty University.

Style:

I take a client-centered approach, meeting each individual where they are with empathy and understanding. I believe in the power of unconditional positive regard, ensuring that every client feels heard, validated, and respected in their unique experiences. My goal is to create a safe and supportive space where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and challenges without judgment. I also use a systems approach when working with clients, recognizing the importance of relationships and dynamics in the healing process. Some of my therapeutic techniques include child-centered play therapy for children, The Gottman Method for couples, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help individuals reframe negative thought patterns, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to strengthen emotional connections. My goal is to create a supportive space where clients can explore challenges, build resilience, and foster meaningful growth.

Hobbies:

I enjoy spending quality time with friends and family, whether it’s sharing a meal, exploring new places, or simply catching up. Hiking is one of my favorite ways to connect with nature and recharge. I also love going to concerts and volunteering with friends, finding joy in both music and giving back to the community. Playing the piano and singing are passions of mine, allowing me to express creativity and unwind through music.
