You don’t have to walk this journey alone. There is help, support, and healing available. Life is not always easy, and I would be happy to help you as you navigate the journey of life. Leonard Cohen once wrote that “There is a crack in everything, that’s how the light gets in.” From some of life’s difficulties can come our greatest resilience.

Education:  

Lindsey has a Master’s of Science in Social Work with a concentration in evidence based interpersonal practice from The University of Tennessee. In addition, she holds certification from The University of Tennessee in trauma treatment, certification from The Medical University of South Carolina in TF-CBT. She holds certifications from The Seleni Institute in Treatment of Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders as well as Treatment of Grief and Loss. In addition to these certifications, she is currently pursuing certification in a training program by Dr. Van der Kolk, M.D. in trauma treatment.

Hobbies:  

Lindsey enjoys spending time with her wonderful dog, family, and friends as well as exercising in her free time.

Lindsey utilizes a strengths-based, humanistic, person-in environment approach to healing. She believes each client is the expert of their own life experience, and is here to act as a guide, facilitator, and therapist to help you reach your therapeutic goals. She recognizes the inherent dignity and worth of every person, and is honored to walk alongside you to help you reach your goals. Lindsey has experience working with individuals, couples, families, children and adolescents, and women during the perinatal period. She implements a wide array of modalities including CBT, TF-CBT, ACT, DBT, and mindfulness.
