Lyndsay Wilson

Lyndsay Wilson

Intro:

Brené Brown said, “We don’t have to do all of it alone. We were never meant to.” No matter what circumstances you may be facing, my hope is that you don’t have to face it alone. Asking for help is one of the most challenging and transformational things we can do. When working together, my main goal is to help you feel safe, known, and heard as we pursue your unique journey to healing. I aim to provide a trusting and authentic therapeutic presence as you discover the best path to reach your goals.

I would be honored to walk alongside you as you pursue your own path to healing and wholeness.

Education:

Lyndsay has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology of Human Relations from Indiana Wesleyan University and a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Indiana Wesleyan University.

Style:

Lyndsay works from a person-centered and collaborative approach that fosters acceptance, empathy, and genuineness and allows you to work together towards the goals you set for yourself throughout the therapy process. Her approach is also trauma-informed and attachment-based, meaning that she is aware of the impact that past experiences can have on your present well-being and relationships. She’s comfortable working with individual adults and couples and works from a wide range of evidence-based modalities including DBT, CBT, parts work, somatic work, and trauma-informed interventions.

Hobbies:

In her free time, Lyndsay enjoys a long walk or hike with her dog, working out, and finding the next best coffee shop or restaurant around town.
