Liela Bloom

Liela Bloom

“The world is indeed full of peril, and in it there are many dark places; but still there is much that is fair, and though in all lands love is now mingled with grief, it grows perhaps the greater.” — J.R.R. Tolkien

I feel everyone deserves a chance to grow and develop at their own pace, but that journey can be hard to walk alone. I want to be there alongside my clients, offering a helping hand when the mountains ahead seem too big to climb. My aim is to meet you exactly where you are, with patience and without judgment, as we work together toward the life you want to build.

Education & Training:

Liela is currently working towards her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling degree from Capella University. She has a bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Musical Theatre from the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss).

Style:

Liela's therapeutic style is integrative, drawing primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Reality Therapy, and Narrative Therapy.  She believes clients grow most when they feel safe to tell their own story and reframe the narratives that no longer serve them. Her approach blends practical, present-focused tools with space for reflection, helping clients build the insight and skills they need to move forward at their own pace.

Hobbies:

Outside of her clinical work, Liela enjoys crochet, reading, board games, tabletop RPGs, and video games. She treasures time spent with her family, including her 4-year-old son and 13-year-old cat.

Specialties:

Liela gladly works with clients of all ages and demographics. She has particular experience supporting those navigating religious trauma, LGBTQIA+ affirming care, and polyamorous relationships.
