Joni Batts

When your child is struggling, you want to find relief for them as quickly as possible. When those struggles involve their emotional and/or mental health, it can be difficult to know where to begin. I use a variety of approaches and techniques to meet each child where they are and to help them address their problems in a way that is comfortable and manageable for their development level. I can help your child address adjustment issues, peer or social concerns, anxiety, depression, trauma, etc. Together we will set goals, work through issues, and learn new skills.

I have experience working with divorce adjustment, stress, anxiety, social concerns, trauma, and behavioral issues. Children express themselves best through play so I use a variety of techniques including play therapy, art therapy, and sand tray therapy to help children work through their problems in a safe environment.
