Intro

I’ve always felt that being a therapist is an integral part of who I am, and my work feels incredibly purposeful. As someone of Christian faith, I believe God has intentionally guided me on this path, and I know this is my calling—what I’m meant to do with my life. I’ve been married for over 25 years, and as a parent of two adult children, I’ve experienced the ups and downs of raising a family and being in a committed relationship. With over a decade of experience as a school social worker, I understand the struggles children face today, including the rising concerns around anxiety, depression, and suicidal thoughts among youth. My goal is to reassure both kids and their parents that you are not alone, and with the right support, things can get better. I also realize the pressures faced by college-aged students and young adults, and I want them to know it’s okay if you don’t have “life” figured out yet. Finally, I am deeply grateful and honored for the trust that others have placed in me to guide them throughout my career and life and would truly appreciate the opportunity to support you as well.
