Jennifer Sharpe-Hillary, LMFT

Jennifer Sharp

Intro:

Welcome! This is where you will find kindness, unconditional acceptance, and solutions. Sometimes, the solution is a listening ear to process difficult emotions and experiences. Other times, very practical solutions are needed, such as communication techniques, equitable division of household and parenting tasks, or simply a budget. Working through the BIG relationship issues: money, sex, in-laws, exes, and step-children are done at a careful pace with much encouragement to cooperate, negotiate, and find the sweet spot between you and your person.

Approach:

Jennifer takes a holistic approach: mind, body, and spirit. Without simple changes in our bodies, such as relaxation, exercise, and sleep, our minds cannot connect. Without opening our souls to meditation, guidance, or prayer, we may feel an empty vessel. Without leaving room for recreation and play, even as adults, we may lose motivation to live through the hard times. When we care for the whole person, there is a synergistic effect, and the results are magnified. This is a place to care for the whole person, and she invites you to start caring for yourself today!

Style:

Jennifer’s style is talk therapy. Behind the talk is a foundation in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (Think-Feel-Behave), Solution-Focused Therapy (What works for you?), and Psychoeducation (Let’s learn more!)

Hobbies:

Jennifer loves all things outdoors-sunshine, kayaking, and swimming. During winter, she loves watching movies with her family and snuggling with her dog, Taco.
