As a lifelong Clarksville resident, I have always been passionate about helping others and building meaningful connections within different people in all walks of life. My journey into counseling has been shaped by both personal and professional experiences that have taught me the value of empathy, resilience, and having someone who will truly listen during difficult times.
A significant part of my passion for counseling comes from my family’s experience with Huntington’s Disease. I was a caregiver for my mother as she battled the disease, and I have personally witnessed the emotional, relational, and practical challenges that individuals and families face when navigating chronic and progressive illnesses. Now as someone who also carries the gene I am able to help those navigate that aspect of life as well. These experiences inspired me to pursue counseling and have given me a deep appreciation for the strength, courage, and support needed during life’s most difficult seasons.
