Maya Angelou said, “We delight in the beauty of the butterfly, but rarely admit the changes it has gone through to achieve that beauty.” We rarely discuss the nitty-gritty process of change because change is, at times, really uncomfortable! Metamorphosis doesn’t happen overnight. It also doesn’t have to happen alone. Whether you’re on the cusp of self-change, already in the chaos of the cocoon, or just need some assistance spreading your wings for the first time, my goal is to meet you exactly where you are on your journey to the healthiest self you want to be.

I am convinced the best work happens in an environment that is empathetic, authentic, judgement-free, and collaborative. Within this environment, I employ a variety of interventions and techniques: from art, play, and narrative therapy to mindfulness techniques. I am also trained in S.A.F.E. (Somatic and Attachment Focused) EMDR, and love working with clients to identify, understand, and release the trauma stored in their bodies. Metamorphosis is hard work but I believe, whole-heartedly, in the transformative power of the healing it enables.

I want to help you corral the internal resources you already have—and develop whatever new tools you need—to empower your growth into self-knowledge, healing, and wholeness.
