“Anything that’s human is mentionable, and anything that is mentionable can be more manageable. When we can talk about our feelings, they become less overwhelming, less upsetting, and less scary.” — Fred Rogers.

Often, just having the right environment to talk about our lives, our fears and our hopes can bring about profound change on it’s own. In my work over the years as a professionally licensed counselor in both KY and TN, I have seen growth of all kinds spring from the seed of trust that is built in the therapeutic relationship, and the ability to speak on and explore thoughts and feelings without judgement. Those with traumas, anxieties, fears, doubts, and frustrations all benefit in a place of trust and hope. My experience and expertise is geared toward assisting those with issues related to depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use, anger, and overall emotional regulation. I have a range of modalities I employ such as CBT, DBT, person centered counseling, and expressive therapies. Meeting the client where they are is my mantra, and I always seek to help each person feel heard and understood as we work on adaptive interventions to reach mutual goals. I strive to create a safe and trusting environment where anything and everything can be discussed and explored without fear of judgment, and invite you to open your self to the possibilities therapy can provide!
