Erica Gehle

I am Erica Gehle, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).  I strive to foster genuine connection and trust, recognizing that every individual’s story is unique and worthy of respect. I believe in walking alongside my clients as they navigate life’s challenges, helping them build resilience and gain insight into their thoughts and behaviors. Sessions are collaborative and adaptive—whether you’re seeking brief, solution-focused support or a deeper exploration of long-standing patterns, we will work together to define goals and celebrate progress. My commitment is to offer compassionate guidance and practical strategies, empowering you to move forward with confidence and hope.

Education

  • Master’s in Social Work, University of Tennessee, Knoxville
  • Bachelor’s in Psychology, with a Minor in Criminal Justice from Ashford University

Style

My therapeutic approach is rooted in talk therapy and integrates several evidence-based modalities. I frequently draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and reshape unhelpful thought patterns, and Solution-Focused Therapy to guide individuals toward practical, achievable goals. Psychoeducation is an essential component of my work, as I believe that understanding the “why” behind our thoughts and behaviors empowers lasting change. Mindfulness techniques are often woven into sessions to encourage present-moment awareness and self-compassion.

Hobbies

I enjoy watching TV series, spending time with my daughter, socializing, entertaining, cooking, exploring history, traveling, and trying new restaurants and cuisines.
