My goal is to provide a safe, non-judgmental space for clients to explore who they have been, who they are and who they want to be. I work with clients on a variety of issues, including self-esteem, cultural trauma, racial identity, relationship distress, depression, anxiety, boundaries and trauma.
A necessary part of change is self-awareness. I partner with my clients through cognitive behavioral therapy skills, motivational interviewing and client centered approaches. We will work together to identify and challenge thoughts and behaviors, work on coping skills and reframe any thoughts or beliefs that do not serve who you want to become. I also use a good dose of humor. Working on our stuff is difficult, sometimes it helps to laugh.
I look forward to helping you achieve the level of peace that you deserve.
