I have the most experience counseling children, adolescents, and adults working through life transitions, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, and addiction. I also work with clients on communication skills, learning how to regulate their emotions, andt hose simply looking to verbally process their thoughts and feelings with someone.
I offer and eclectic approach blending the counseling theories of Choice Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. I also provide non-directive for Child Centered Play Therapy with children. I believe in identifying goals and teaching coping skills that can help you get there.
I see my role as a guide to help clients find personal healing and growth. I believe through providing a safe, non-judgemental environment we can work on finding positive ways of working through difficult situations.
