David Richo said, “Our wounds are often the openings into the best and most beautiful parts of us.” I believe this to be whole-heartedly true. Oftentimes, people fear these wounds and like to shove them into the basement closets of their heart. I am not afraid of these parts of you. I want to help you take back the power that these wounds have over you and your happiness. When working together, I will create an environment that allows you to take up space without guilt, judgment, or shame and show you what true support, validation, and unconditional positive regard feel like.
I am interested in working with children, adolescents, adults, and couples who are struggling with trauma, grief, anxiety, self-esteem, body image, and personal identity. I plan to do this by utilizing techniques inspired by parts work, attachment theory, and other expressive and experiential therapies.
I look forward to supporting you in your healing.
