Tina Duncan

Are you feeling stuck, unseen, or unheard? I understand that life can be challenging, and at times it can feel like you’re facing it alone. If you’re experiencing difficulties with your career, a relationship, daily routines, or even feeling confined internally, you don’t have to go through it alone. You deserve to be heard, and I’m here to offer you a safe space to do that.

Hi, I’m Tina! I’m a master’s level therapist and PhD student at Connect Counseling, and I’m here to support you. I want to meet you where you are in life, and I’m passionate about working with women, adolescents, teens, young adults, and couples. I believe that every individual deserves to be heard, and I especially enjoy working with underrepresented communities.

I understand that everyone’s struggles are unique, which is why I’m here to help you navigate through them. My therapy style is one of empathy, compassion, and humor. I’m here to listen to you, support you, and guide you through these difficult times.

My areas of clinical interest include depression, anxiety, self-esteem, relationship issues, self-worth, life transitions, couple/family conflict, substance abuse, trauma, religious trauma, and everyday life struggles. I practice an integrative, evidence-based approach to therapy that incorporates narrative and cognitive-behavioral approaches. Together, we can work towards overcoming your challenges and making positive changes in your life.
