There are only so many times you can think about something before you start to feel like you’re going in circles. “What’s the point of going over it again and again if everything just stays the same?”

My hope is to work with you to identify when your thoughts, feelings, behaviors and/or surroundings are causing you harm, which of these you have the power to change, which you do not, and what kind of change aligns with who you are. Let’s figure this out.

Approach

Tori tailors her approach to you, depending on your thinking patterns, personality, interests, and specific challenges. Tori has experience using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to address thoughts and behaviors, emotionally focused therapy (EFT) and mindfulness to draw attention to feelings, and systems focused therapy to understand the impact of a person’s environment (i.e. home, school, work, community, etc.). Oftentimes, the way we operate in the world makes sense given the experiences we have had, and the environments we have been a part of. Tori will zoom out with you to look at how these experiences have shaped who you are, while giving you the space to begin to change what no longer serves you.
