Dr. Racheal Phillips

Mr. Rogers said “When we can talk about our feelings, they become less overwhelming, less upsetting, and less scary. The people we trust with that important talk can help us know that we are not alone.” My main goal is for you to feel safe and completely accepted at whatever point in your journey of life you are at now. We have all been through confusing and upsetting events in life, and we do not always know the best way to get through them at that time. I want to help you find your best way so you can move forward and heal. Hopefully, you can then more easily handle future stressful events.

I practice a person centered approach which is free of judgment or shame by accepting ALL of you, being genuine, and listening to understand you and your journey. We will come up with a collaborative plan to reach your goals.

I utilize multi-theoretical models and techniques including SAFE EMDR, TF-CBT, CBT, mindfulness, art therapy, play therapy, and music therapy. Brené Brown said it best “We don’t have to do all of it alone. We were never meant to.” I would be honored to help you on your journey to healing.
