Rachel

Hi there! More than anything, I want to be a safe space to hold whatever it is you need to bring to the therapy room today. Seeking help can be daunting, but you don’t have to face challenges alone. I’m here to walk with you on your healing journey, creating a safe space to explore emotions, discover strengths, and work toward the life you deserve. I’d love nothing more than to have the opportunity to walk with you on your healing journey!

Education:

I have a master’s degree in clinical Mental Health Counseling, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, both from Trevecca Nazarene University.

Style:

I value safety and trust building before utilizing any fancy modalities. I often use models like Person-Centered Therapy, Child-Centered Play Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I believe that the client is the expert in the room, so I follow the client’s lead in session while gently leaning us toward our goals together.

Hobbies:

I enjoy reading, coloring, estate sales, games (specifically Jackbox TV and Monopoly Deal), going on walks, thrifting, and bingeing reality TV.

Specialties:

I work with individuals 4+. I have experience working specifically with depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, life transitions, and confidence issues.
