Hey there! I am the Operations Manager for Connect Counseling, and I have been with Connect since 2019. I started as the Intake Coordinator, and my inspiration for taking on that role was Brené Brown, who taught me that the first step in seeking help is to be vulnerable, and being vulnerable takes a lot of strength! I am now focused on supporting our staff and clients day by day. I love what I do and find it very rewarding each day. Growing up in a small town, I have always cared deeply for people. Through studying Sociology at APSU, experience as a domestic violence advocate, and experience with intake, I have gained excellent skill in taking care of people by connecting them to needed resources. All while having empathy, a non-judgmental space, and a listening ear.
My leadership style is to give full transparency. From answering questions to listening to needs and wants, I strive to create an open and healthy work environment for both admin and therapists alike. Thus, creating the most efficient space for our clients. I want this process to be as stress-free and comfortable as possible. I am a Mom, wife, and advocate. I understand trauma and how the brain functions (and tricks us). I also understand every day stress in this place we call life. I will take every step with you, whether you are an employee or a client, to feel supported, heard, and validated.
I truly believe we have the best team and therapists in the world, everyone deserves this level of self-care, and it’s my job to help get you there.
