Jill Brick, LCSW, Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Experience working with a variety of ages-children, pre-teens, teens, young adults, the elderly, couples, and families. Extensive experience with others struggling with negative self-talk, anxiety, suicidal ideation, trauma, grief, anger, and/or family conflict. Guiding clients by empowering them with healthy coping strategies to manage negative self-talk, anxiety, and depression. Setting realistic goals that improve one’s overall well-being. It is important that my clients feel safe, comfortable and can trust me with their most vulnerable self. I have a positive, yet realistic outlook on life and have valuable, practical advice when it comes to individuals, couples, relationships, and life struggles. I have been married for over 20 years, have two adult children, and have personally faced the challenges, struggles, and rewards of raising a family and being in a committed relationship. I also have worked in the school system as a school social worker for over ten years and know the challenges youth face and the rise in anxiety, depression, and suicidal ideation in children and young adults today. I want kids and their parents to know you are not alone and it can get better with support. I know the challenges and pressure of college-age and young adults in their twenties and want them to know it’s okay if you don’t have “life” figured out right now. As a therapist I want my clients to feel heard, supported, and valued. And leave feeling empowered, worthy, and capable.
