As a graduate student in Marriage and Family Therapy with Northcentral University, I hope to work with you to become your best self. I believe in the whole person and incorporate entire family systems to see where struggles lie, and how we are seeing them manifest in our personal and professional lives. My goal is to get to know you and help you on your journey. Like Abraham Lincoln said, “The best way to predict your future is to create it.” That is what I strive for, a future that you want.
I am working on a specialization in military families. Being part of a military family myself, I can empathize with the struggles that we face. Also, I have lived abroad for much of my life and have a melting pot of a family; so I have a unique understanding of merging cultures and practices and the challenges they can bring. Once my graduate studies are completed I am hoping to continue my education into Equine-Assisted Therapy because of the amount that I have learned about myself through training my own horse – “there is something about the outside of a horse that is good for the inside of a man.” This quote by Winston Churchill is one that I could not agree with more.
I look forward to meeting you and starting this next chapter with you. I am confident that by working together we can discover the bright future you seek!
