Administrative Assistant for Mt. Juliet
Shauney Strane
Shauney is an administrative assistant at our Mt. Juliet location. She takes pride in her role at Connect Counseling with check-ins, scheduling, and communications with clients over the phone, through emails, and in the office. Her favorite part of her job is meeting everyone that comes into our office and doing all that she can to make our guests feel comfortable and cared for. Shauney feels very passionate towards the path that we choose to take to well being. She is thrilled to have this opportunity to help you your little ones towards that path, even in the littlest way that she can.
Shauney has always had a deep belief that it takes a lot of self awareness to make the change that we would like to make to become our better selves. Now that she has entered this role in the therapy world, she is more confident than ever that she is where she should be. She is happy to see the process that people take to wellness while serving in her position at the front desk. This is why she has made the choice to go back to school to start her journey into becoming a therapist herself one day. Being around all these amazing and caring therapists here at Connect, and witnessing the changes and strengths that our clients have had during their process of therapy, has only strengthened that belief that this is the profession for her!

In her spare time Shauney loves spending quality time with her family and close friends. She is a devoted wife and mother of two great children and her favorite way to practice self care is to snuggle up on the couch (or bed, if her little one has taken over the living room TV) and binge watch her favorite shows or watch a movie, preferably a psychological thriller or scary movie.
