Gary Wood

After forty-plus years of study and mental health work, Gary has retired to a life of leisure (or so he thought). His love for nurturing and helping people in a variety of ways drew him back to stay “near the action”. Linking up with Connect Counseling Center allowed him to stay connected with professionals that care for the health and growth of people. “Even at my age, I felt I had more to give.” Working out of both offices (Mt Juliet and Clarksville), Gary serves the staff and therapists to maintain a beautiful, safe, and nurturing environment where clients can enter and receive assistance. “It’s a wonderful situation where I can be a part of a team of qualified professionals and be paid for what I love to do.”

Gary has been married for forty years and is proud of his two grown boys. He enjoys nature, woodworking, oil painting, reading and virtual content creation. He strives to love all people through his faith in Christ.
