My 'ideal' client may not know what they want. I like to take on clients that appear stuck in behavioral and cognitive functioning and need guidance to untangle what let to the stuck-point. There is no one issue that is 'ideal' for me to work with but I value the work with all clients to dive under their presenting concerns and work together to find reasoning and resolution for healthier living. Finally, I look to heal wounds of the past.
I help clients by healing wounds of the past. My specialty is trauma processing and recovery. This can be applied to a wide range of mental health disorders. Trauma processing can be achieved in my work through EMDR, sand tray, and expressive arts.
Suffering is an inevitable part of being human. What's worse, suffering will often times slip in and out of our awareness causing dysfunction. At some point, we all experience suffering but we should never have to suffer alone.
